Run From Fire🔥

 Proverbs 5:7&8

7 “Therefore hear me now, my children, And do not depart from the words of my mouth.

8 Remove your way far from her, And do not go near the door of her house,”

 Comments:

When an author repeats something it’s because it’s important. The father is not saying this to restrict enjoyment for his children. He is doing this out of love for them. He wants them to enjoy the greatest of what God made sex & marriage to be.

 When immorality is possible it is time to run! Wisdom tells us to avoid this danger well in advance. Don’t even go near it.v8

 We have moves in wrestling called "cradles." Any experienced wrestler knows you do not play around when an opponent attempts one. The best coaching advice l know is: "Treat cradles like fire!"

 The father in Proverbs 5 is saying, "Treat immorality like fire." It is loving advice to the children he loves.
