Live Like Kings👑

We Americans are truely blessed. We have food & comfort in our homes that only kings & very rich had in past years. But there is something greater. The following verses tell about what the kings of Israel were told to do. Something we all can do.

Deuteronomy 17:18-19

18 “Also it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book, from the one before the priests, the Levites.

19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the Lord his God and be careful to observe all the words of this law and these statutes,"

Comments:

God told the kings todo 3 things with the scriptures:

1 "...write for himself a copy..."v18

2 Keep it "...with him,"v19

3 "...read it all the days of your life,..."v19

We can do these same 3 things. Quite easy for us to get multi & handy copies to read, to listen to, hear explained, written on posters, etc.

Let us read some part of scripture every day and ask Him to help us understand and obey it.
