 Our format is to take a few verses & go thru an entire chapter. Now we finalize our look @ Proverbs 5.

 What to remember when tempted to be immoral:

1. Personal pride to do right.v11&12 Be true to yourself.

2. Parents, teachers, leaders.v13 Bring honor to those you owe much.

3. Bring good reputation to the crowd.v14 We all effect many.

4. Remember God sees us always.v21 We get to honor our Creator.

 When I was in college hours away from home these truths helped me avoid immorality. When l was tempted to be immoral l remember thinking of my sister and Mom. How could I ever face them after treating a lady immorally. Today, l come home to Jan only. How can l face her or my daughters having broken her trust.

 When l read God's Word and pray l am reminded of all His love and sacrifice for me. How can I be immoral with a lady God made to be someone else's wife?

 Let's remind ourselves often of the above 4 truths that can give us reason to do right. And then let's rely on God's Spirit which He gives to to those who trust Him.
