He Sees it All!👀

Proverbs 5:21-23

21 For a man's ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and he ponders all his paths.

22 The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is held fast in the cords of his sin.

23 He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly he is led astray.

Comments:

Facing any temptation we should remember 3 key truths:

1. God sees everything and knows it deeper than we could imagine.v21. We may hide things from everyone else, not God.

2. Sin traps & ties us down with incredible restrictions.v22

3. Sin is the cause of death.v23

Deep awareness of these truths is needed to hate & avoid any sin.

Proverbs 5 ends with these great motivators. It is a gracious thing to hear such truths:

*God sees everything l do & think!

*Sin limits me!

*Sin has eternal effects!
