COLORADO ELEMENTARY K-5 & MIDDLE SCHOOL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Participants in the elementary and middle school regional and state championships MUST be a resident of Colorado.  Note that RMN separates Elementary (Grades K-5) and Middle School (Grades 6-8) into divisions based on grade not age at the time of the tournament. 

Elementary division will qualify FOUR wrestlers in each weight class in 3 classifications (K-1, 2-3, 4-5).
Middle school division will qualify SEVEN wrestlers in each weight class all in one classification.
All wrestlers who qualify for State will participate for FREE!

ELEMENTARY K-5 SUPER REGIONAL & STATE

Weight Allowance for Elementary Regional & State:  ONE Pound for ALL in Elementary Grades K-5 in addition to the .2 lb. singlet allowance (1.2 LB Total).

Grades K-1 WEIGHTS:  37, 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 61, HWT

Grades 2-3 WEIGHTS:  42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 62, 66, 70, 74, 78, 87, HWT

Grades 4-5 WEIGHTS:  49, 53, 57, 61, 65, 69, 73, 77, 81, 85, 89, 100, 113, 120, HWT

Example: An Elementary wrestler weighing in for the 43 lb weight class can be 44.2 for Regional and State

MIDDLE SCHOOL REGIONAL & STATE

NOTE:  A middle school wrestler must be in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade to compete and will only have 3 years of eligibility to compete in the Colorado Middle School State Championships.

Weight Allowance for Middle School Regional & State:  TWO Pound for ALL in Middle School Grades 6-8 in addition to the .2 lb. singlet allowance (2.2 LB Total).
